Le jeune patron de l’Orchestre National d’Ile-de-France, en poste depuis un an, ouvre sa saison avec un magnifique programme partagé entre Mozart, Brahms et même Ligeti pour trois des quatre dates de cette mini-tournée francilienne. « Je souhaite sincèrement que cet orchestre soit reconnu comme l’ensemble de classe mondiale qu’il est » nous confiait Case Scaglione il y a tout juste un an lors de son arrivée à Paris. Un tel défi passe, pour lui comme pour ses musiciens, par la confrontation régulière avec des partitions majeures du répertoire symphonique romantique, à l’image de la majestueuse Deuxième symphonie de Brahms à l’affiche de ces concerts. Au même programme, Case Scaglione choisit d’inviter en soliste le célèbre corniste allemand Stefan Dohr (né en 1965), prestigieux Premier cor solo de l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Berlin depuis 1993. Une sommité de son instrument qui interprétera le Troisième concerto pour cor de Mozart (lors des 4 concerts du cycle) mais aussi, lors des concerts de Rambouillet et Rueil-Malmaison, le très rare (et virtuose) Hamburg Concerto de Ligeti créé à Utrecht en 2001.
