Villeneuve-en-scène / d’après Pirandello / mise en scène Julien Guill
Une comédie de Pirandello sur une troupe sicilienne improvisant sur un canevas de mélodrame, lui-même tiré d’une « petite nouvelle » de l’auteur, Adieu Léonore, elle-même inspirée du Trouvère de Verdi, opéra auquel se réfèrent les personnages… Telle est la vertigineuse spirale que le maître italien imagine dans Ce soir on improvise, dernière pièce de sa trilogie « Du théâtre dans le théâtre », qui démonte l’art dramatique dans tous ses rouages. « Pirandello met le théâtre à l’épreuve de la vie et propose une expérience singulière au spectateur. Ce dernier peut suivre le parcours de l’acteur qui s’émancipe de l’auteur puis du metteur en scène pour laisser apparaître la vérité du drame traversé (créé) par son personnage. C’est à cet endroit précis que ma démarche, au travers du « théâtre enragé », croise celle de Pirandello. » explique Julien Guill, metteur en scène, qui revendique « une esthétique sans artifices » et signe une adaptation décapant la patine pirandellienne pour redonner tout leur éclat aux questions posées par le texte. Débarrassés de toute affèterie, les acteurs montent à cru ce drame abyssal de la jalousie, et prennent tout le théâtre comme espace de jeu, public compris…
