« On sait que ce monde qui a du mal à voir le jour n’émergera jamais si on ne l’aide pas à naître. On sait que c’est à nous de faire quelque chose, de trouver un autre chemin, d’inventer un autre langage, de récupérer notre temps, de réécrire l’Histoire. » À partir des témoignages recueillis pendant un atelier d’écriture organisé en écho à sa dernière création, Point de non-retour, Alexandra Badea a imaginé l’histoire de deux adolescents. Déa vit dans le nord de la France. Un jour, elle rencontre Enis, un mineur isolé, hébergé par la mère d’une de ses copines. Naît une amitié profonde qui déclenche chez Déa une remise en question radicale et le courage d’assumer ses envies et de faire ses propres choix, jusqu’aider Enis à gagner l’Angleterre. « J’ai éprouvé l’envie de créer un spectacle destiné premièrement au jeune public, où sa parole puisse être entendue, et ses rêves, doutes et craintes, partagés », dit Alexandra Badea, qui, par le miroir du théâtre, veut montrer à la jeunesse qu’elle est plus belle qu’on ne le pense et meilleure qu’elle-même ne le croit.
