C’est la Phèdre ! est à l’image du festival Les Effusions qui l’a vu naître en 2017 en Normandie sur l’île du Roi. C’est une fête. Mis en scène par Jean Joudé, membre du collectif Les Bourlingueurs qui a créé ce carrefour d’artistes issus d’horizons divers, ce spectacle vise à mettre la salle « sous vapeur ». « Dans une atmosphère qui mêle la fougue et la fatigue », la tragédie de Sénèque y est portée par six comédiens récemment diplômés du Conservatoire et par deux musiciens du groupe Les Minotaures. En dialogue constant les uns avec les autres, ces jeunes artistes questionnent l’énergie à l’œuvre dans la pièce antique. Sa « violence brute qui piétine l’introspection ». Nourrie par des influences punks, l’équipe de C’est la Phèdre ! va jusqu’aux frontières de la transe. Dans une quête de nouveaux territoires tragiques riches en perspectives.
