A Avignon, Christian Rizzo est passé maître dans l’art de révéler les aspérités de danseurs hors du commun, dans des solos jouant sur le mystérieux et l’intime. Après Rachid Ouramdane, Jean-Baptiste André et I-Fang Lin, c’est au tour de Kerem Gelebek de s’engouffrer dans les autofictions et les paysages que le chorégraphe aime peindre sur l’humain. Kerem Gebelek travaille depuis plusieurs années au sein de sa compagnie, déjà remarqué dans des pièces de groupe. Ici, il se lance dans le solo en marchant dans les pas du chorégraphe, dans des habits qu’il quittera à mesure de sa progression.
Un voyageur aux prises avec son histoire
D’abord randonneur perché sur sa montagne, il descend pour dévoiler les morceaux de son histoire. Christian Rizzo met les projecteurs sur l’idée du déplacement, du voyage et de l’exil. A chaque nouvel objet sorti de son promontoire, correspond une mise en valeur, un déplacement, une danse où Kerem Gelebek porte une attention particulière à ses points d’appui. Avec lui, le pied, le dos, le coude, le genou deviennent tour à tour un centre dans lequel il investit sa traversée. Autour de lui, chaque vêtement, panneau, ou plante verte qu’il installe ouvre des espaces possibles et déclenche un imaginaire en mouvement. Avec minutie, précaution et entêtement, le danseur d’origine turque nous emporte dans son périple, nous menant de « l’ici » jusqu’au « là-bas » par la seule force de son corps en résonnance avec la plastique de l’espace.
