Cité Nationale de l'Histoire de l'Immigration / texte de Jérémy Beschon d'après Tassadit Yacine-Titouh / mes Jeremy Beschon
A partir des études historiques sur l’immigration algérienne, des mythes des origines kabyles et des fables animalières transcrites par Brahim Zellal dans son Roman de Chacal, Tassadit Yacine-Titouh, anthropologue spécialiste du monde berbère, et Jérémy Beschon, dramaturge et metteur en scène, ont composé cette pièce qui racontent les aventures de Chacal. Décryptant la fable issue de l’imaginaire populaire « à la lumière des rapports aux différents pouvoirs et aux différents modes de domination », les deux complices cherchent à éclairer les structures sociales et leurs représentations. Leur projet vise un triple but : réconcilier les Algériens avec leur culture d’origine en montrant sa richesse, faire découvrir cette richesse aux Français ; enseigner à tous que l’intelligent gagne toujours à la fin, même s’il est aussi petit que le hérisson, bien plus rusé que le chacal…
