Et si le réel réinventé soudain détournait la course du temps… Durant cinq jours, le festival Chalon dans la rue suspend l’affairement habituel de la ville pour y provoquer d’improbables rencontres et autant d’expériences insolites qui frappent au cœur de notre présent. Qu’il s’inscrive en installation monumentale avec Soyez les bienvenus d’Art Point M et livre une réflexion intime sur les flux migratoires africains, qu’il raconte l’histoire du monde arabe par l’expressivité du geste dans (Des)astres du Monde – Opus n°2 de Osmosis ou encore qu’il questionne la situation d’étranger dans Nal Boa [Regarde-moi] d’Ex Nihilo, l’art prend forme au dehors et fouille les questions de société. En quelque vingt créations, la 25e édition montre la diversité des démarches des artistes de la rue : la chorégraphe Nathalie Pernette touche les sensations physiques, T.R.A.N.S.I.T.S.C.A.P.E, fait résonner l’architecture avec les Distorsions urbaines, Comp Marius met Beckett à la rue, les Souffleurs débarquent en « commandos poétiques », Metalovoice percute la mémoire industrielle… Danse, installation et performance plastique, spectacle sonore, pyrotechnie, déambulation ou théâtre de rue : l’art décidément passe toutes les frontières disciplinaires.
