Les rues de Chalon-sur-Saône sont devenues depuis longtemps le lieu privilégié de cet art original et inventif qui engendre des dispositifs à sens et des engins à émotion. L’édition 2008 se veut, selon le mot de Pedro Garcia, son Directeur Artistique, « celle des auteurs, de la création, des rencontres artistiques généreuses et inoubliables », dans la diversité revendiquée des genres, des écritures et de l’expression. Des spectacles comme autant de fabuleux rendez-vous « pour faire de cette œuvre urbaine une prodigieuse machine à réécrire nos espaces publics et notre vivre ensemble ». Cette année, vingt compagnies invitées parmi les meilleures de ces extraordinaires usines à rêves : Internationale Alligator, Circolando, Culturarte, Délit de Façade, Doedel, Grand Magasin, Karnavires, Les Hommes penchés, les Sangs Cailloux, Makadam Kanibal, Mécanique Vivante, Métalovoice, le Théâtre du Soliloque, Tricyclique dol, Xavier Kim, les Bains-Douches, Ce dont nous sommes faits, Ici même, les Chercheurs d’Air, Sans Paradis Fixe. Une folie urbaine à parcourir pas à pas, en allant de surprises en émerveillements !
