Théâtre de St-Quentin-en-Yvelines Chorégraphie Sylvain Groud
Une blancheur éclatante étreint l’espace avec une précision clinique. Cerné dans ce cube opalin, où notre regard extérieur pénètre par interstices à travers des stries de tissu, un homme danse, le corps tantôt heurté, tantôt porté par le remuement intime de réminiscences secrètes, qui laissent deviner le désir toujours palpitant à fleur de peau. Sylvain Groud a composé ce solo à l’issue d’une longue résidence dans une maison de retraite. Dans l’installation conçue par le plasticien Jonathan Loppin, que la vidéo métamorphose par incrustation d’images, le danseur et chorégraphe détourne les gestes quotidiens des résidents et des soignants, se mêle aux projections mouvantes : sa propre silhouette, les aides-soignants, les visages de personnes âgées… soit autant d’incarnations de la mémoire et du présent qui dialoguent en un incessant ballet. Chambre 209 questionne ainsi notre rapport au vieillissement et fait surgir par éclats l’inattendue beauté de la vie.
