Studio-Théâtre de Stains / d’après Sara Stridsberg / conception Yngvild Aspeli
Sur un matelas sommaire, une marionnette à taille humaine repose, désarticulée. C’est Valérie Solanas à la veille de sa mort, dans un hôtel miteux de San Francisco. Avec la percussionniste Marthe Sørlien Holen, la marionnettiste d’origine norvégienne Yngvild Aspeli fait apparaître dans Chambre noire, la dernière création de sa compagnie Plexus Polaire, les personnages et souvenirs les plus marquants de la vie de cette femme. Du moins telle que la dépeint la Suédoise Sara Stridsberg dans La faculté des rêves, fantaisie littéraire autour de celle qui est passée à la postérité pour son manifeste féministe radical S.C.U.M (Society for Cutting Up Men), écrit en 1967. Et pour avoir tenté un an plus tard de tuer par balles Andy Warhol. Avec plusieurs marionnettes représentant Valérie Solanas à des âges différents, musique et vidéos composent un portrait complexe. Celui d’une femme qui a cherché sa liberté très loin des sentiers battus.
