L’univers des chambres d’hôtel est singulier, anonyme et empreint de solitude. Pour la chorégraphe Valérie Rivière, c’est un lieu frontière où le temps et l’espace sont les liens invisibles des personnages, où les événements glissent les uns dans les autres, où éclatent les rêves de chacun, l’amour, la solitude de tous. « Dans un espace trop étroit ou trop grand selon les heures, des secrets asservissent la pensée, défigurent l’intimité. » Un duo et trois soli, trois spectacles en un seul pour trois chambres qui s’ajustent et s’emboîtent, un polar romantique, à moins que ce ne soit un road movie pour l’auteur Timothée de Fombelle. Chambre 26, c’est la nuit à Berlin, une femme est seule, reliée au monde par un fil de téléphone. Chambre 360, ils sont deux avec l’amour, puis là encore le téléphone sonne, et la violence succède à la passion. Chambre 4 à Hanoi, un après-midi de pluie, une femme seule avec ses secrets voit dans un souffle une feuille de papier glisser sous sa porte. La danse, la musique sans oublier l’énergie des mots accordent leur mesure à un spectacle rare et délicat.
