N’ayant peur de rien, et surtout pas de tenter l’improbable, les 26000 couverts proposent ici une opérette de science-fiction. Bien entendu, toute cette histoire de vaisseau spatial n’est qu’un prétexte pour mieux révéler les travers de nos sociétés, ce que nos comportements ont d’absurde, en introduisant un point de vue extérieur. L’humour manié par les 26000 Couverts est du type grinçant, débridé, irrévérencieux : on aura le droit comme d’habitude à des bouffonneries insolites autant qu’imprévues, mais avec une grosse différence : tout cela se fera en chansons, puisque Chamonix adopte la forme de la comédie musicale. On y apprendra donc, en vrac, les origines du cosmos, qui est Dieu, comment mourir d’une overdose de fondue savoyarde, en musique et avec le sourire !
