Même les chevaliers tombent dans l’oubli / de Gustave Akakpo / mes de Matthieu Roy
Comme le disait Aimé Césaire à propos de Fanon, il est des « guerriers-silex » qui « rayent le regard des bourreaux » : par le rire, Gustave Akakpo est de ce combat ! Dans l’insolent Chiche l’Afrique, il se fait bateleur et imitateur, et convoque les chefs d’Etat africains pour une délirante revue de presse. On y retrouve toutes les gabegies de la Françafrique, la corruption, l’hypocrisie, les relations incestueuses entre l’ancienne colonie, toujours avide, et ses rejetons autocratiques qui engraissent en affamant leurs peuples. Comme un gamin qui s’amuse, Gustave Akakpo transforme la scène en guignol hilarant, et tire à boulets rouges sur les compromis, les vendus et les traîtres. Le Théâtre Jacques-Prévert accueille la création d’un autre texte de Gustave Akakpo, Même les chevaliers tombent dans l’oubli, à voir à partir de huit ans. La Compagnie du Veilleur s’empare de l’histoire du petit Mamadou, parabole de l’altérité, et de la différence entre l’Afrique et l’Europe.
