A la tête de son Chœur régional Vittoria d’Ile de France, Michel Piquemal mène depuis 20 ans un exceptionnel et très sous-estimé travail au service de la musique chorale française. On lui doit en particulier la (re)découverte d’œuvres magnifiques de Jean Cras, Roppartz, Duruflé ou Honegger. Après sa participation à la célébration du 100e anniversaire du Martyre de Saint-Sébastien de Debussy le mois dernier au Théâtre du Chatelet, le Chœur régional est de retour sous la baguette de Boris Mychajliszyn, son chef associé depuis mars 2011. Il rend hommage à la figure et la musique de Lili Boulanger, sœur cadette de la célèbre pédagogue Nadia Boulanger, compositrice surdouée trop tôt disparue en 1918 à l’âge de 25 ans et trop longtemps oubliée depuis par le monde musical. Ce programme placé sous le signe de la nature fait la part belle aux œuvres chorales profanes de Lili Boulanger (dont les Clairières dans le ciel (1915-1916), cycle de mélodies, pour ténor et piano sur des poèmes de Francis Jammes, considérées comme un sommet de son oeuvre) mises au contact de chœurs de Fauré et Debussy. Avec Jean-Baptiste Henriat (baryton) et Mathias Lecomte (piano).
