Après sept éditions sous le kiosque du Jardin du Luxembourg, le festival « Chopin au jardin », organisé par l’Institut polonais, a migré l’an dernier vers le cadre, plus verdoyant encore, du Parc Montsouris. D’un jardin à l’autre, la formule reste inchangée : des récitals de piano, confiés à des spécialistes de Chopin, pour servir « au naturel » l’œuvre du compositeur. Premier à fouler la pelouse de Montsouris (le 10 juin), Marek Drewnowski est une référence pour l’œuvre de Chopin dont il a enregistré l’intégrale, recréant également une version de chambre oubliée du Concerto en mi mineur. D’autres figures de la scène musicale polonaise lui succèderont : Pawel Kowalski (17 juin), virtuose adoubé par les compositeurs Witold Lutoslawski et Andrzej Panufnik, puis le jeune Krzysztof Ksiazek (1er juillet), remarqué lors du Concours Chopin de Varsovie en 2015. Entre les deux (le 25 juillet), la Française Emmanuelle Swiercz, qui vient d’ajouter un enregistrement des Valses (label La Musica) à sa discographie chopinienne inaugurée en 2015 avec les Nocturnes. Le dernier concert présente un aspect beaucoup plus rare de l’œuvre de Chopin : sa musique vocale, interprétée par la soprano Paulina Horajska, la basse Pawel Michalczuk et la pianiste Aleksandra Dabek.
