Après « Défardé », album sombre et troublant, « Goutte à goutte » (Mosaïc Music) conserve une empreinte obscure dans les mots et les sens. Parolier de la dénonciation sociale, des vanités existentialistes, les textes déroulent un tapis rouge à la mort. Hontes, amours vaines, souffrances d’enfants, monde détruit ou fuite du temps : la vie s’égrène, goutte à goutte, larme après larme, « dans un monde où l’on meurt tant, rien n’est plus insupportable que ce goutte à goutte à la recharge toujours pleine […] une goutte de presque rien toutes les cinq secondes coule sur les joues du monde avant d’être essuyée d’un simple revers de l’âme ». Cette noirceur brille d’une double lumière, celle de la plume de leur auteur, et celle d’une musique rock planante, génératrice de vraies chansons éloquentes, sans pathos. Le pessimisme de Christian Roux ne dessèche pas, il déchiffre et réinterprète la part tragique de nos vies, faisant toucher tous ses thèmes à l’universel.
