Soliste à l’Ensemble Intercontemporain depuis 1990, l’altiste Christophe Desjardins est un musicien résolument engagé dans le domaine de la création musicale. Les plus grands compositeurs de notre temps ont reconnu en lui un médiateur hors pair : Berio, Boulez, Boesmans, Jarrell, Fedele, Nunes, Levinas, Harvey, Stroppa et Rihm lui confient leurs partitions. En 2001, il a constitué avec l’accordéoniste Teodoro Anzellotti un tandem musical inattendu, élargissant encore le champ des possibles, à travers un répertoire de transcriptions d’oeuvres baroques et de créations d’oeuvres nouvelles pour accordéon et alto. Ils jouent pour ce concert des œuvres de Wilhelm Friedemann Bach, Benjamin Britten (Lacrymae op 48), Gérard Pesson, Marco Stroppa et Johann Sebastian Bach (Sonate pour viole de gambe n°3 en sol mineur).
