Comment ne pas être frappé par la remarquable théâtralité de la langue de Pierre Desproges ? Théâtralité dans le sens le plus essentiel du terme, à savoir dans l’indéfectible volonté de partager sa parole avec un interlocuteur, dans l’envie de le surprendre, d’ouvrir des brèches inédites dans sa réflexion et son imaginaire, de le laisser KO parfois, dans le goût des mots qui caracolent en liberté, raffolant des décalages et des chutes les plus inattendus, et dans cette façon extrêmement audacieuse de mêler la dénonciation et le rire, sans jamais larmoyer. Cette étonnante férocité, désenchantée et grinçante laisse évidemment voir une certaine tendresse pour le genre humain… « L’interprète fulgurant totalement atypique qu’était Pierre Desproges a fait oublier qu’il était aussi un grand dramaturge. » souligne Michel Didym, qui a déjà mis en scène Les animaux ne savent pas qu’ils vont mourir du même auteur, et adapte Les Chroniques de la haine ordinaire, nées sur les ondes de France Inter en1986 avant d’être publiées. Deux comédiennes d’exception, Christine Murillo et Dominique Valadié, donnent corps à ces chroniques avec finesse et un talent fou. Elles révèlent au public « l’irrévérence et la violence comique de cette langue » que les jeunes générations ne connaissent peut-être pas.
