Théâtre Paul Eluard de Choisy-le-Roi / d’après Mohammad Al Attar / mes Leyla-Claire Rabih
Né à Damas en 1980, Mohammad Al Attar est l’une de figures montantes du théâtre syrien. Programmée en 2016 au Festival d’Avignon (Alors que j’attendais, mis en scène par Omar Abusaada), son écriture est aujourd’hui présentée au Théâtre Paul Eluard de Choisy-le-Roi dans un spectacle de Leyla-Claire Rabih sur la révolution syrienne. D’un échange d’emails racontant l’enthousiasme du début du soulèvement (Online), à un théâtre intimiste et documentaire décrivant les bouleversements des individus face à la répression du régime (Tu peux regarder la caméra ?), jusqu’à un road-movie nous faisant traverser un pays en pleine désagrégation (Youssef est passé par ici), Chroniques d’une révolution orpheline propose un « voyage dans le temps et dans la complexité des situations politiques ». Un voyage entre violence et humour qui mêle images, sons et vidéo « pour illustrer et appréhender la multiplicité des points de vue sur des événements (…) brûlants d’actualité ».
