Encore, et encore… Le mouvement se déplie, déploie, déroule, plie et roule, revient encore, en infimes variations : le corps chez Cindy Van Acker condense en son cœur toute la tension entre l’espace, le rythme, le son et la lumière, qu’il fusionne en une intense vibration organique, intimement enfouie. Formée au classique, danseuse au Ballet royal de Flandre puis à celui du Grand Théâtre de Genève, la chorégraphe d’origine flamande ouvrage depuis près de dix ans la ligne personnelle d’une danse abstraite et charnelle, introvertie et tendue, qui se propage dans un temps sans histoire… Débarrassant ses gestes de l’habitus classique, elle a inventé un langage corporel croisant l’extrême concentration du yoga et la maîtrise précise des impulsions de chaque muscle. « J’ai voulu reconsidérer le corps en enlevant tout ce qui semble « naturel », les réflexes, le corps qui parle tout seul, les gestes conditionnés par les comportements sociaux ou les habitudes physiques. » explique-t-elle.
Entre danse, performance et arts plastiques
Son écriture chorégraphique, qui allie sobriété esthétique, mouvement minimaliste, composition minutieuse et musiques électroniques, fouille les résonances de l’être et l’immatériel. Dans Lanx, Cindy Van Acker se fond avec le sol et renverse la perspective à l’horizontal, explorant en un courant continu la géométrie des lignes qui découpent le plateau. Comme en négatif, Obvie est porté par Tamara Bacci et spirale sur la blancheur nue de la scène en une infinie digression, entre ralentis et accélérations. Avec Obtus, Marthe Krummenacher brouille la perception de l’équilibre d’un trait de néon, tout comme, dans Nixe, Perrine Valli perturbe le dessin des gestes, tout en courbes, cercles et rotations, absorbés dans une surface lumineuse. Surgis des confins, ces quatre soli féminins invitent chacun à un parcours secret qui prend chair dans le mystère même des significations.
