Coline Serreau a déjà derrière elle une longue aventure avec le cirque. Elevée au trapèze, elle a usé ses guêtres sur la piste de l’école du cirque d’Annie Fratellini. Devenue l’auteur et la réalisatrice que l’on connaît, elle a toujours gardé des étoiles plein les yeux et n’a jamais délaissé le spectacle vivant. A l’Académie Fratellini, elle endosse le rôle de metteur en piste, pour donner vie à l’énorme chapiteau en étoile du lieu et confronter les apprentis artistes aux processus de la création. Cirkipop s’inscrit dans la veine du précédent spectacle Hip envolée Hop : une grande forme pour petits et grands donnée à l’occasion de Noël, et un métissage sur le plan des techniques corporelles qui accueillent la danse hip hop au même titre que les autres disciplines circassiennes. Où il est question de virtuosité et de prouesses avant toute chose… Pour ce faire, dix artistes de l’Académie côtoient trois danseurs hip hop, deux jeunes diplômés de l’Ecole des Arts du Cirque de Bruxelles, et deux acrobates au mât chinois de la compagnie Equivoque, Ode Rosset et Charlotte Pouvreau.
Combinaisons de styles et d’artistes
A la manière d’une conteuse, Coline Serreau s’appuie sur une histoire pour décrire un univers entre rêve et réalité. Au centre, une femme clown (hommage à Fratellini mère et fille ?), qui prend ses distances avec la vie citadine pour entrer dans un monde mystérieux. L’atmosphère végétale tranche avec l’agressivité de la ville, et c’est en découvrant des individus hors norme que ce personnages va s’intégrer à une nouvelle société et à ses codes. Un scénario onirique et naïf, propice à dépeindre des comportements plus étranges et délurés les uns que les autres, incarnés par la jeunesse et la virtuosité des interprètes. On passe des danses primitives à des jeux aériens qui symbolisent les échanges entre les peuples, au-delà de la noirceur des conflits. Voyons comment, dans ce désir de symbole et de métaphore sur le rapprochement entre les peuples à travers l’imaginaire et le métissage, Coline Serreau pourra faire du cirque un art du spectacle du XXIème siècle.
