Avec un parcours plutôt rock, et surtout très personnel, Diterzi rentre d’une résidence houleuse
à la Villa Médicis, où son statut de compositrice de musiques actuelles détonna dans le petit
monde de l’académisme contemporain. Cette créative aime l’épure, malgré un
penchant évident pour le baroque : une composition qui tourne toujours plus autour
d’un cœur voix-guitare, enrobé d’une viole de gambe, d’un violoncelle et de percussions.
Portée depuis toujours vers une esthétique désuète bien qu’enracinée dans son époque, vers
une certaine nostalgie sonore où l’ancien et l’électro se tissent sans racisme, Diterzi
retourne au cœur de l’instrument, au matériau presque brut de la musique. Les
textes, extrêmement imagés, résonnent de métaphores amoureuses et charnelles,
émaillés d’allusions picturales, de double-sens, et de fragments de son année romaine.
Les arrangements de ce nouvel album, à la fois harmonieux et déconcertant, nous guident
dans les entrailles de sa musique de manière curieuse, presque comme une confidence.
