Théâtre de l’Oulle / de et mes Cie n° 8
La date de création de la compagnie de théâtre de rue Cie n° 8 n’est pas anecdotique. 2008, c’est l’année de la crise bancaire où, depuis, « tout est fait pour culpabiliser les pauvres, les précaires, les chômeurs et autres personnes n’ayant pas pour ambition d’être riches et puissantes ou d’avoir une Rolex avant 50 ans. » Forte de ce constat, la Cie n° 8 décortique au fil de ses spectacles la société par le prisme du pouvoir, de l’argent et du travail. Cocktail Party s’inspire des écrits de Monique et Michel Pinçon-Charlot, sociologues au CNRS, spécialistes de la haute bourgeoisie et des élites, pour prendre en dérision les us et coutumes de cette caste, et dénoncer sa déconnexion avec la réalité sociale actuelle. Une création collective et une forme artistique particulière, un « happening », où le spectateur devient le voyeur d’une soirée mondaine dominée par la théâtralité, le jeu des apparences, les petites cruautés et la bêtise humaine – avec des clins d’œil à Jacques Tati pour l’humour et David Lynch pour l’esthétique.
