Il y a Betty Boop, Monsieur Loyal, les siamoises Micheline et Mercedes, Pierre et Stéphanie… Grand musclé ou petit rablé, belle plante aguicheuse ou créature de dessin animé, il y a de tout sur le plateau de ce cabaret strip-tease. En grand magicien de l’absurde et de l’image, Philippe Decouflé a pris le parti de mettre en scène la singularité de chacun dans l’art de l’effeuillage et de l’érotisme. Ici, le spectacle tient tout autant du cabinet des curiosités, dans une déconstruction des codes liés au genre. Se déshabiller, pourquoi, et surtout comment ? Sous forme de récréation et de divertissement pleinement assumés, Decouflé fait rire, chanter et danser. Il n’en oublie pas moins le désir et le plaisir, les clins d’œil et références dans ce petit monde de l’insolite. Avec ces numéros qui s’enchaînent et la crudité de certaines scènes, on est loin d’un certain type de poésie soft que l’on reconnaît chez Decouflé, et cela fait du bien.
