Cirque
Des champions, les circassiens ? Pas pour Jérôme Thomas, lassé de la surenchère contemporaine du toujours plus, du toujours mieux, qui finalement emporte l’homme dans la spirale implacable et infinie de la performance, assimilant l’homme à la machine et le détournant inévitablement de ses capacités poétiques. Jérôme Thomas, qui a révolutionné l’art du jonglage, qui sait allier technique, imagination et réflexion, invente des spectacles à la fois ludiques et oniriques, où l’envol de l’imaginaire compte autant que celui des objets. Pour ce Cirque de Noël conçu avec les apprentis de l’Académie Fratellini, il célèbre notre humanité, et notre fragilité. Les apprentis se confrontent à un colosse, « L’abominable homme de cirque ! L’humain trop humain ! » ; ils l’approchent et le défient. L’un monte au mât chinois, c’est la colonne vertébrale du colosse. Les autres jouent avec sa mâchoire, lui remontent les bretelles, dansent sur ses cils de fer… Ce « géant d’une tendresse colossale » vous attend.
