CYCLE / PHILHARMONIE
Le « musical », à l’image de l’opérette (viennoise ou parisienne), est par excellence un genre délicat à la croisée de la musique savante et de l’art populaire, dont le destin s’est souvent confondu entre la scène et l’écran. En écho probablement involontaire à la production radieuse de Singin’ in the Rain au Théâtre du Châtelet, la Philharmonie rend hommage au Musical en quatre temps. D’abord, celui de la création et de la jeunesse avec le Pas vu, pas pris du compositeur et chanteur Hervé Suhubiette, sur des textes de Bernard Friot, pour un spectacle musical ludique pour les 3 à 6 ans, mis en scène par Fabrice Guérin (le 9 à 11 et 15h30, le 10 à 11h). Ensuite, avec les sœurs Katia et Marielle Labèque (le 9 à 20h30 et le 10 à 16h30) entourées de deux percussionnistes et de danseurs hip-hop (chorégraphie : Yaman Okur), pour une relecture originale de West Side Story. Enfin, deux immenses voix de la scène afro-américaine exploreront ce répertoire, chacune à leur façon : la chanteuse de jazz Dianne Reeves (le 9 mai à 20h30) et Jessye Norman (le 10 mai à 17h).
