C’est dans la salle des fêtes de Vauchelles-les-Quesnoy, une municipalité de 907 habitants appartenant à la Communauté de communes de l’Abbevillois, dans le département de la Somme, que l’équipe de la Comédie de Picardie avait installé, le 15 février dernier, la « boite à théâtre » inventée par Pauline Bureau pour présenter Comment j’ai mangé du chien. Ce spectacle – conçu par la jeune metteure en scène (artiste associée à la Comédie de Picardie) à partir du texte éponyme du Russe Evguéni Grichkovets (né en 1967), mais aussi d’un autre écrit intitulé En même temps – voyagera dans les communes rurales de Picardie jusqu’au mois de juin. Une façon de porter le théâtre là où il n’est encore qu’une réalité lointaine, au plus prêt de populations qui, pour une somme modique (à Vauchelles-les-Quesnoy, l’entrée était libre), peuvent pousser la porte de leur salle des fêtes et découvrir l’univers singulier d’Evguéni Grichkovets.
Derrière les petites choses du quotidien
Un univers fait de drôlerie, de réflexions métaphysiques, de perspectives poétiques, qu’incarne avec beaucoup d’aisance Nicolas Chupin. Evoluant à l’intérieur d’un espace scénique noir rempli d’un bric-à-brac personnel (un tourne-disque, des mannequins d’étalage, un ventilateur, des avions suspendus…), le personnage-narrateur de Comment j’ai mangé du chien s’adresse au public, lui confie ses troubles, ses questionnements, pointe du doigt les interstices de l’être qui l’amènent à interroger son rapport au monde. Il est question ici des petites choses du quotidien, des prises de conscience, de certaines illusions, des sensations diffuses mais prégnantes qui peuvent brouiller la netteté de nos certitudes. C’est une création libre et joyeuse, que proposent Pauline Bureau et Nicolas Chupinaux spectateurs des territoires picards. Une création ambitieuse qui, loin d’un simple divertissement, nous plonge dans les profondeurs et les ambiguïtés du réel.
