PIANO / ORLEANS / THEATRE DES BOUFFES DU NORD
Axé sur le répertoire pianistique de 1900 à nos jours, le Concours international d’Orléans a, depuis plus de vingt ans, révélé de nombreux talents du clavier. En quatre tours, quarante candidats originaires de dix-huit pays seront cette année en lice, accompagnés par l’ensemble Court-Circuit sous la baguette de Jean Deroyer. Ils feront en particulier retentir l’œuvre imposée commandée à Philippe Hersant, Le Carillon d’Orléans, inspirée par le son des cloches de la cathédrale. Ces dix jours de concours, couronnés de nombreux prix, seront également l’occasion d’un foisonnement de rendez-vous : concerts, conférences (dont une consacrée à Pierre Boulez par Jean-Pierre Derrien), présentations de livres, ainsi qu’une belle exposition de photographies d’artistes par Jean-Baptiste Millot. Après la finale orléanaise, les lauréats auront le bonheur de se produire aux Bouffes du Nord. On notera également que cette année marque le passage de relais entre sa fondatrice et actuelle présidente, Françoise Thinat, et son successeur, Isabella Vasilotta.
