Chorégraphie Yan Raballand
Contrepoint est aussi le nom que Yan Raballand a donné à sa compagnie, marquant une attention portée à la musicalité qu’il ne quittera pas. Chez lui, la composition chorégraphique n’est pas sans lien avec certains principes de composition musicale, qu’il aime retrouver chez des artistes comme Jean-Sébastien Bach. A Paul Dukas, il emprunte également la formule du contrepoint comme un endroit où « sans doute, se trouve l’avenir ». Avec cette pièce façonnée à même la peau des interprètes où se succèdent un duo et un trio, le chorégraphe a pu s’en donner à cœur joie, dans les pleins et les déliés du corps, glissant de l’humanité à l’abstraction. Au festival l’an passé, Yan Raballand avait proposé une pièce plus marionnettique, fruit de sa collaboration avec Johanny Bert. Voici une belle occasion pour le spectateur de se plonger à nouveau dans son écriture.
