Avec plus de 150 instruments, dont 26 classés « Monuments historiques », le Pas-de-Calais est une terre chérie des organistes. Depuis six ans, le département organise un festival consacré à cet instrument, « Contrepoints 62 », liant habilement musique et patrimoine. La prochaine édition, qui se déroule du 16 septembre au 9 octobre, fait la part belle à la musique baroque. On ne manquera pas l’interprétation des concertos pour orgue de Haendel par Kenneth Weiss, accompagné par l’English Concert (le 30 septembre à l’église Notre-Dame de Calais), le beau programme Vivaldi concocté par l’ensemble Amarillis (le 1er octobre à l’abbatiale de Licques) ou encore la Missa della Madonna de Frescobaldi par Jean-Charles Ablitzer (le 25 septembre à l’église d’Auxi-le-Château). Bicentenaire oblige, Liszt sera aussi à l’honneur, notamment dans le cadre de deux récitals à la cathédrale de Saint-Omer : celui de Michel Bouvard (le 16 septembre) et celui de Vincent Genvrin (le 8 octobre). Et pour ne rien gâcher, le festival pratique une politique tarifaire plus que raisonnable (le billet est à 5 euros !).
