« Lumière. Phares. Sifflet. Sirène. Bottes ? Chiens. POLICE ». Soudain, la peur frappe au ventre, encore plus brutale qu’à l’habitude, la brûlure blanche des torches crame l’avenir d’un coup. Stop. La loi rompt soudain le temps. Cet homme est un immigré clandestin. Hier, il était Kurde. Aujourd’hui, il est sans histoire, sans pays, sans passeport, sans mémoire, sans bagage. Il a rongé les liens de sa patrie d’enfance pour libérer sa fuite, en quête d’un autre pays qu’on lui refuse. « J’ai essayé de surprendre ses contradictions, ses angoisses, la destruction de son être. Ce qui m’intéresse dans l’écriture c’est de surprendre le point où l’extérieur détruit l’intérieur, où le politique envahit l’intime. Il s’agit de dénoncer ce qui nous empêche de vivre et la frontière est pour moi la plus grande blessure. » dit Alexandra Badea, jeune auteur et metteur en scène roumaine, qui, elle aussi, a connu l’exil et a choisi le français pour langue d’écriture. Enfermé dans une cage de néons, cet éternel fuyard retrace son itinéraire d’exil, se heurte aux visions du passé… se cogne contre les impossibles à venir.
