Adrien Mondot n’est pas de ceux que l’on peut classer et ranger dans une boîte. Sa spécificité d’ingénieur en informatique, il l’a mise au service de son art, le jonglage. Convergence 1.0 est le spectacle de la rencontre entre les deux pratiques, mettant en friction les deux solitudes de l’homme face à sa machine et face à ses balles. Ce qui pourrait commencer par un simple spectacle de jonglerie et de musique (avec la violoncelliste Véronika Soboljevski) tourne court. La balle est relayée par son double virtuel, entraînant le spectateur dans une autre dimension. Adrien Mondot tente alors avec ce nouvel outil une totale refonte de son métier de jongleur : plus de contrainte de poids, de vitesse, finie la peur de l’échec ! C’est un véritable univers poétique qu’il réussit à créer là, chaud et lumineux, surprenant et décalé. La technologie, bien présente, bien visible, devient l’instrument d’un nouveau rapport au corps et à l’objet.
