ARDECHE / MUSIQUE DE CHAMBRE
Il y a 18 ans, alors qu’il cherchait un lieu pour fonder un festival, le Quatuor Debussy est tombé amoureux de l’Ardèche, de toute l’Ardèche. D’où l’idée de fonder un festival itinérant. Consacré aux cordes et plus généralement à la musique de chambre, il met en œuvre les maîtres-mots qui animent les Debussy depuis un quart de siècle : curiosité, ouverture, partage et convivialité. Le programme de cette année, intitulé « Cultures en harmonie », peut en témoigner, qui nous fait voyager de l’Afrique (Ballaké Sissoko et Vincent Segal) à l’Empire du soleil levant (concert de koto et de sakuhachi avec le Quatuor Akilone), en passant par l’Orient (viole d’amour de Jasser Haj Youssef), la Mongolie (spectacle de la compagnie La Grande Fugue) et le « royaume » du slam (avec le slameur Mehdi Krüger). Et tout cela en faisant découvrir le cadre enchanteur des cités ardéchoises : Viviers, Villeneuve-de-Berg, Bourg-Saint-Andéol, Aubenas… Parallèlement au Festival se déroulent également deux académies : l’une de musique de chambre et l’autre exclusivement consacrée à l’art si délicat du quatuor.
