Né dans la culture hip hop, Hervé Sika a particulièrement développé le « mood », gestuelle fluide, qui, naissant de rien, est simplement guidée par la sensation et l’envie d’aller vers l’autre en utilisant ce que l’on est. Après un premier travail en commun avec la chef Mélanie Levy-Thiébaut, mêlant déjà musique classique et danse hip hop (le projet Hip Hop Story), les deux artistes ont décidé de renouer cette année les fils de leurs univers respectifs pour monter un spectacle d’art total : danse actuelle, musique baroque, mixage live, texte (de l’auteur Douna Loup) et chant, autour de la question du corps en exil. Sur scène, les onze musiciens de l’orchestre Manifesto et leur chef Mélanie Levy-Thiébaut, le DJ Junkaz Lou, les sept danseurs hip hop de la compagnie MOOD/RV6K et deux chanteurs lyriques (la soprane Sevan Manoukian et le contre-ténor Robert Expert) combinent, amalgament ou brouillent les mélismes et ornements baroques et les gestes saccadés et syncopés de la danse urbaine actuelle. Une femme rencontre un homme migrant, l’étranger devient familier, le passé se joint au présent, tandis que la sarabande ou le rigaudon résonnent sur la table de mixage…
