Il était courant, au XVIIIème siècle, que les airs les plus célèbres des opéras soient transcrits pour ensembles à vent. De La Flûte enchantée aux Noces de Figaro, pas un ouvrage lyrique de Mozart qui n’ait été adapté pour les harmonies de souffleurs, qui jouaient ces « best-of » dans les kiosques à musique. La nouvelle production de Cosi fan Tutte présentée au Théâtre de l’Athénée s’inspire de cette tradition, mais cette fois-ci les vents remplacent l’orchestre dans la fosse, et accompagnent les chanteurs dans tout l’opéra. Une idée de François Bazola, le nouveau directeur artistique de l’Ensemble PhilidOr, qui sera également à la baguette. La mise en scène est confiée à Yves Beaunesne, directeur de la compagnie de la Chose Incertaine. La distribution est, quant à elle, composée de jeunes voix déjà remarquées, notamment celle d’Amaya Dominguez, passée par le Jardin des Voix de William Christie.
