Théâtre Gérard Philipe / D’après Le Songe d’une nuit d’été de Shakespeare / texte de Pauline Sales / mes Jean Bellorini
La folie qui ensorcelle les amoureux dans la forêt du Songe shakespearien inspire à Pauline Sales une rêverie contemporaine autour de l’amour… et du désamour. Sauf qu’ici, familles recomposées obligent, les victimes des caprices de l’amour n’en sont pas à leur première union et sont déjà parents. Tout commence le jour du mariage de Lysandre et Hermia, chez qui Tine et Robin, âgés d’une dizaine d’années, vivent une semaine sur deux. Les enfants, qui ont des raisons de croire que l’amour est une illusion, font appel aux pouvoirs de Cupidon, qui emmêle les désirs et convoque les ex – Hélène et Bottom. Comment naît l’amour et pourquoi s’arrête-t-il ? « Si l’amour est une douce passion, pourquoi tourmente-t-il ? Si cette passion est amère, oh, dis-moi d’où vient ma joie ? » Jean Bellorini cite Fairy Queen de Purcell et, fort de son talent à rendre la scène si vivante et si poétique, nous entraîne joyeusement dans cette folle nuit enchantée, où l’ivresse de la passion rejoint celle du jeu théâtral !
