RADIO-FRANCE / VIOLON ET ORCHESTRE
Ce jeune prodige suédois qui signait il y a un an, à l’âge de 15 ans, un prestigieux contrat d’enregistrement avec Deutsche Grammophon (qui intègre pour la première fois à son catalogue un artiste aussi jeune), est né dans une famille où la musique n’était pas une priorité. La mère de Daniel Lozakovich, dit-on, rêvait plutôt pour lui d’un destin de tennisman ! Par chance pour les mélomanes du monde entier qui découvrent son archet souverain, le jeune Daniel en décida autrement et préféra les coups d’archet aux coups droits. Découvert par Vladimir Spivakov, formé par Josef Rissin à la Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe puis par Eduard Wulfson à Genève, soutenu par Valery Gergiev (qui l’invite à jouer à Moscou et Saint-Pétersbourg), Daniel Lozakovich frappe autant par son brio instrumental que par sa personnalité très affirmée et charismatique. Il se présente lors de ce concert pour la première fois sur une scène parisienne, à l’invitation de l’Orchestre philharmonique de Radio France (direction Krzysztof Urbański), dans le Concerto pour violon de Beethoven, son œuvre fétiche, celle de son premier enregistrement programmé chez DG… Au même programme après l’entracte : la Symphonie n°5 de Chostakovitch.
