Prêt à embarquer ? Chez Thomas Lebrun, les frontières n’existent pas et les imaginaires n’ont aucune limite. A partir d’un tapis immaculé et d’un espace vierge, vont défiler dans un joyeux séquençage des danses qui pourraient constituer le catalogue fantasmé des cultures chorégraphiques du monde. On se promène alors de continent en continent, chacun apportant son lot d’images, de musiques, de gestes. Les pays traversés diffèrent selon que l’on fait Le petit voyage (à partir de 2 ans), Le plus long voyage (à partir de 6 ans), ou Le tour du monde (tout public). Dotée d’un univers visuel très fort, entre lumières, costumes et objets, chaque danse n’a de folklorique ou de traditionnel que l’esprit ; Thomas Lebrun joue avec les codes culturels et les attendus pour mieux nous prendre à revers. Et rêver avec nous d’un monde de danses où chacune se fond dans l’autre dans un élan partagé.
