Maison de la Danse de Lyon / Chor. Mehdi Meghari
Fondée en 2012 par les chorégraphes Souhail Marchiche et Mehdi Meghari, la compagnie stéphanoise Dyptik explore le thème de l’identité et s’investit dans le champ de la révolte. Comment celle-ci influe sur le corps humain constitue la problématique de D-Construction (2016). Ils décident alors de retourner dans la rue pour mettre à l’épreuve leur écriture et l’engagement des danseurs évoluant toujours à vue, sans coulisse et sans échappatoire. Dans l’engrenage, création 2017, bénéficie de l’expérience de D-Construction et de l’expérience humaine que la pièce avait générée. Dans l’engrenage s’attache au langage corporel pour décrire les maux de notre société actuelle prise dans une course effrénée au pouvoir, au rendement, à l’excellence. Mais à quel prix ? « J’ai également été inspiré par 1984 de George Orwell, raconte Mehdi Meghari, qui se déroule dans un régime totalitaire où l’on touche aux libertés pour pousser l’humain dans ses retranchements, où l’on contrôle ses émotions pour contrôler sa vie. » Pris dans l’engrenage, quelle est donc notre capacité à bousculer les codes, à résister à l’ordre politique, social, économique, religieux ?
