« Je souhaite avec cette pièce me questionner sur le rôle de l’homme et de la femme dans la société actuelle », note l’auteur, qui ajoute : « Sommes-nous tous capables d’aller jusqu’au bout de nous-mêmes malgré les autres, et de vivre pleinement, ou est-il plus facile de cacher son véritable moi ? Sommes-nous maîtres de nos désirs et de nos choix, ou la société a-t-elle déjà choisi pour nous ? » Sa création aborde ces thèmes en croisant l’histoire de deux frères : l’un, marié à une épouse obnubilée par sa carrière, rêve d’un enfant, l’autre, mu par le désir d’être femme, tente de sauver son couple. L’arrivée d’un troisième personnage va bouleverser leurs vies. La pièce enchaîne des actes très brefs, qui peignent le quotidien en plaçant les personnages dans des situations extrêmes, piquantes. Les six comédiens servent avec entrain et brio « le rire comme antidote aux larmes », mot d’ordre de la compagnie.
