Aux yeux de Dominique Rebaud, il existe une « communauté de la danse ». Elle est composée de tous ceux qui mettent le mouvement au cœur de leur existence : ce choix, qui va à rebours de bien des diktats d’aujourd’hui, peut être vu comme un acte de résistance. C’est à la rencontre de cette communauté de la danse que la chorégraphe se rend dans le cadre de « parcours chorégraphiques », auxquels participent de nombreuses associations de danse du département de l’Essonne. Le spectacle Danses ouvertes est l’aboutissement de ces parcours qui se développent depuis plus d’un an : les danseurs amateurs rejoignent les danseurs de la compagnie Camargo. Danse orientale, traditionnelle, hip-hop, contemporaine, indienne, portugaise, afro-antillaise… Une rencontre par le corps et la chorégraphie, qui questionne les multiples formes de cet irrépressible « besoin de danser ».
