Bonlieu - Scène nationale / Théâtre Jean-Vilar de Vitry-sur-Seine
C’est une parole d’acteur. Un acteur exilé qui s’appelle Dido. Il nous parle du fond d’un théâtre-bar, remonte pour nous le cours de son histoire, nous dit comment il « a quitté son pays en pleine représentation théâtrale, suite à̀ un attentat à la bombe ». Dido partage ses doutes, ses peurs, ses blessures, le poids de ses culpabilités, les ombres qui le hantent. Il débat de la question de la légitimité, de la place dans la société que l’on peut prendre ou laisser. Au sein d’une scénographie au dépouillement radical, Dieudonné Niangouna interprète ce récit de l’exil en se concentrant sur le verbe, la présence physique, l’adresse théâtrale. Il convoque les démons d’un personnage torturé par la violence qu’il a subie, un personnage qui remonte sur scène « avec une vision neuve du théâtre engagé. »
