Quelle émotion, quelle puissance évocatrice dans cet ultime chant de l’Iliade ! Le vieux Priam, pleurant ses fils, franchit seul les lignes ennemies jusqu’à la tente d’Achille, et le supplie de lui rendre le corps de son fils Hector. Un moment intense de reconnaissance de la fragilité, de mise à nu d’un commun chagrin face à la guerre, face au temps qui emporte tout. Daniel Jeanneteau prolonge avec cette création une expérimentation menée en 2014 aux Subsistances à Lyon à l’occasion de la Biennale de la Danse, rassemblant un comédien et un danseur dans un paysage minéral dévasté, dense, hanté par la violence des armes sur les corps. Le spectacle unit cette fois un danseur, deux comédiens (avec la voix enregistrée de Laurent Poitrenaux), et s’inscrit dans les modules d’expérimentation In Vivo présentés lors du festival de l’Ircam ManiFeste-2018. Le visuel et le sonore reconstruisent ensemble l’espace, grâce à une partition composée par Chia Hui Chen et Stanislav Makovsky. A travers deux parties distinctes, Daniel Jeanneteau vise à laisser émerger toute la tension entre la violence des combats et l’apaisement de la rencontre. Entre la brutalité de la mort et la beauté du monde.
