La taïwanaise Ting-Ting Chang et sa compagnie T.T.C Dance avaient déjà su séduire avec la pièce Body Platform : Cabinet Anthropomorphique, lors de leur précédente venue à Avignon en 2012. On les retrouve aujourd’hui avec un nouvel opus, Déjà vu. Identifié par le philosophe français Emile Boirac, ce phénomène qui se traduit par l’impression d’être déjà passé dans un lieu, d’avoir déjà assisté à une scène ou ressenti une même émotion, est paraît-il si partagé qu’il touche 70 % des gens au cours de leur vie. C’est de cette sensation étrange et familière que s’empare Ting-Ting Chang, concevant « la scène comme une machine à remonter le temps par une prise de conscience de nos états émotionnels ».
Une gestuelle fluide et raffinée
Vêtus de sobres costumes aussi noirs que ceux de Body Platform : Cabinet Anthropomorphique étaient blancs, les sept vibrants interprètes de Déjà vu questionnent « nos états d’âme récurrents entre conscient et subconscient », interrogent « les relations interindividuelles ». Leur gestuelle fluide, précise, raffinée, d’un académisme intemporel, se déploie de façon chorale alors qu’un écran en fond de scène diffuse de mouvants dessins filaires. Rythmée, parfois répétitive, leur danse glisse, oscille, s’ancrant indéfectiblement dans le sol. Une présence rare à ne pas manquer.
