La Manufacture - Château de St Chamand / Chor. Taoufiq Izzediou
Si sa rencontre et son long compagnonnage avec Bernardo Montet furent déterminants, si l’on a vu ses pièces au Festival de Montpellier ou de Marseille, c’est dans son Maroc natal que Taoufiq Izzediou souhaite ancrer sa pratique. C’est en effet à Marrakech qu’il implante sa compagnie Anania, qu’il crée un festival et une formation de danse contemporaine. De grandes premières pour ce pays dans lequel il ne cesse d’œuvrer, aux côtés de Bouchra Ouizguen notamment, pour le développement de la discipline chorégraphique. C’est donc tout naturellement qu’on le retrouve à l’affiche du Focus Arabe des Arts organisé par Ahmed El Attar à La Manufacture.
Un performeur à la présence vibrante
Taoufiq Izzediou y présente Délire Parfait, dernier opus d’une trilogie de solos initiée avec Aaléef puis En Alerte. Retrouvant le guitariste électrique Mathieu Gaborit qui l’accompagne une nouvelle fois sur scène, le danseur chorégraphe à la présence toujours vibrante y poursuit, entre tradition et modernité, son exploration des états de transe. Puisant dans ses racines gnawas et les danses rituelles, il cherche à atteindre à travers l’épuisement du corps et des sens, par la répétition des mouvements, un abandon extatique qui ouvre la voie d’une nouvelle réalité, d’une quête spirituelle.
