Sous le conseil de l’auteur dramatique camerounais Kouam Tawa, collaborateur du Collectif 12, trois metteurs en scène en résidence, Dovie Kendo du Cameroun, Kocou Yemadjé du Bénin et Jean-Claude Ngoubili du Congo ont choisi trois textes, Qui va juger Freeman ? du Camerounais Emeri Nodjeep Tchemdjo, Pourquoi est un tourment du Camerounais Ines Bebey et L’ombre et la vanité du Centrafricain Benoît Kongbo. Des mises en chantier théâtral d’auteurs contemporains vivant sur le continent africain. Trois semaines de travail du 1er au 25 novembre 2007 aboutiront à la réalisation de formes diverses présentées au Collectif 12 dans le cadre du Festival du 23 au 24 novembre. Dans le même temps, le plasticien camerounais Hervé Yamguen, également en résidence, travaille sur une série de dessins et présente une publication. Le 11 novembre, la compagnie Lutherie Urbaine donne sa nouvelle création Sharp ! Sharp ! Le 17 novembre, une Nuit de la Poésie, entièrement dédiée à la poésie africaine, est organisée en partenariat avec la Maison de la Poésie de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Des artistes et un public en situation d’échange autour des œuvres, le temps de ce Festival énergique. Avec cette question insistante : Quel est le sens de l’échange artistique Sud/Nord aujourd’hui ? Déplaçons-nous !
