Cela commence par un monologue, une adresse directe au public qui interroge notre posture de spectateur, et celle des artistes en représentation. La question de l’espace, la question des attentes, l’idée du quatrième mur… Le mouvement advient dans un premier solo, qui dit la naissance d’un geste, et, en filigrane, ce qui peut nous mouvoir. Ces Gens qui dansent, que le titre affirme haut et fort, sont des hommes acrobates pris dans une contagion du mouvement que rien ne semble arrêter. Le premier solo donne lieu à une danse désarticulée, proche du hip hop ; on ne sait si c’est une force extérieure qui le met en mouvement, ou une chose intérieure étrangère qui ne demande qu’à sortir. Le reste se déploie en chutes, glissades, en appuis sur la tête ou sur un bras qui font se retourner tout le corps. L’énergie de cette création collective est belle à voir et à ressentir, et mots et gestes se déroulent à l’envi.
