Je crois que l’une des causes les plus courantes du fait qu’on ne se comprenne pas est que l’on se comprend trop bien. (…) notre communication est trop bonne et intense pour qu’on puisse la supporter… » lâche Erik. Sans doute faut-il qu’une aura de mystère vienne flouter les transparences, ou quelques obscurs motifs en l’autre, qui toujours résiste à la prise et s’échappe. Comme pour dépolir le réel, décidément trop lisse, décidément trivial. Raviver le désir par une morsure inconnue. Se défaire du regard sur soi, et retrouver un espace, une respiration. Dans Détails, pièce achevée en 1999, Lars Norèn quitte les exclus qu’il observait dans Catégorie 3:1 ou Kliniken, et revient dans le milieu bourgeois intello qu’il disséquait dans les années 80. A travers ses menus dérapages, il ausculte les difficultés du couple aux prises avec l’ordinaire fuite des jours et la violence du monde. Erik, 45 ans, éditeur, et Ann, médecin, mariés depuis dix ans, Emma, débarquée de New-York, vendeuse de librairie mais espérant écrire, Stefan, la trentaine, dramaturge au succès naissant, forment le quatuor où, au fil des années, se délient et se relient, changent et s’échangent les duos amoureux.
« Ma vie tombe en morceau »
La plume sèche, concrète, l’auteur suédois prélève de courtes scènes dans l’eau courante du quotidien. Il tisse la partition par petites touches, serre les nœuds de l’existence. Peu à peu, il cerne l’être et le mal-être humain, les dérèglements qui soudain précipitent hors de la normalité mentale et sociale. La pièce, très autobiographique, tramée aussi de résonances pinteriennes, porte les thématiques gravées dans toute l’œuvre de Norèn : les douloureuses relations au père, l’enfance violée, la schizophrénie menaçante, le jeu trouble des désirs, l’anthropophagie de l’écriture qui se nourrit du vécu de l’auteur. Se glisse entre les lignes l’ombre d’une tristesse insoluble, d’une quête désespérée de l’amour, le sourd écho d’une réflexion sur la mort, sur la continuelle dérobade qu’est la vie. Peut-être est-ce cette mélodie-là, vibrante sous les mots, qui ne sonne pas encore assez dans le jeu des comédiens ? Jean-Louis Martinelli orchestre à l’efficace cette sarabande de chassés-croisés amoureux, dans un décor aux atours réalistes, entre café « arti » et loft. Marianne Basler, Eric Caruso, Stéphane Freiss et Sophie Rodrigues donnent à leur jeu la tonalité d’un drame bourgeois, ironique et poignant. Manque un remuement inquiet, irrationnel, traître, aigu : le désir griffé de solitude.
