L’un est percussionniste virtuose, compositeur passé par l’Ircam, apprenti voltigeur et inventeur d’un « cirque technologique et musical ». L’autre est jongleur singulier, gracile un peu fauve, toujours à tarauder les frontières disciplinaires. En scène, Roland Auzet et Jérôme Thomas ont fusionné leurs outils pour chercher un langage en commun : ils ont fait fabriquer chez un génial luthier de curieux instruments-objets, qui doucement s’animent, tournoient, tintinnabulent ou tapent, dessinent les variations de la relation à l’autre et leurs turbulences intimes murées en leur for intérieur. Dans un espace cubique où les perspectives s’entrechoquent et déroutent les repères, ils ont peu à peu tramé ensemble la partition d’un étonnant duo de jonglage musical, où la résistance des choses, le caprice des objets et la musique des corps fusent en un dialogue unique.
