La rencontre en duo, à deux pianos ou à quatre mains, de deux magnifiques interprètes : la Russe Ludmila Berlinskaya et le Français Arthur Ancelle. Complices à la ville autant qu’à la scène – époux suite à leur rencontre à l’Ecole Normale de Paris où Ludmila Berlinskaya fut la professeur d’Arthur Ancelle –, ils ont signé ensemble il y a quelques mois le premier volet d’une aventure discographique en quatre volumes intitulée « Belle Époque » (sur l’historique label russe Melodiya, au catalogue mirobolant), consacré à des compositeurs souvent négligés tels que Louis Aubert, Reynaldo Hahn ou Cécile Cheminade. Aucune rareté par contre dans ce programme présenté dans le cadre original de la Grange Sainte Geneviève de Rungis, où ils font dialoguer quelques-uns des compositeurs les plus connus de l’Histoire de la musique : Tchaïkovski (Casse-Noisette) et Rachmaninov (2e Suite op. 17) pour les Russes, Saint-Saëns (Danse Macabre) Ravel (La Valse) et Debussy (Prélude à l’après-midi d’un Faune) pour les Français.
